Fire extinguishers

A fire extinguisher is a complete requirement in any residence or organization, it is saving your property and even your life. Having a fire extinguisher at residence or at the workplace is a necessity as one does not know when there may be a chance of fire that will put in risk the lives of the people within the surrounding area.

The Fire produces of a chemical combustion reaction, typically a reaction between oxygen in the atmosphere and some sort of fuel like wood or gasoline, naturally, wood and gasoline don't suddenly catch on fire just for the reason that they're surrounded by oxygen. For the combustion reaction to take place, the fuel has to be heated to its ignition temperature. As you can see, there are two essential elements involved in this process :

• Extreme heat
• Oxygen

Fire extinguishers are designed to remove at least one of these elements so that a fire will die out.
